Please read this document carefully and comply with it to help us ensure everyone has a professional and respectful experience at all ASG events and interactions.
Scope of Application
This code of conduct applies to all events, meetings, and business interactions organized, hosted, or co-hosted by American Strategic Group LLC (ASG), including but not limited to:
- Conferences and summits
- Seminars and workshops
- Business meetings and consultations
- Networking events and social gatherings
- Virtual online events and webinars
- Client meetings and presentations
- Training sessions and educational programs
This applies to both physical and virtual events. By participating in these activities as an attendee, speaker, sponsor, partner, client, consultant, or volunteer, you agree to abide by this code of conduct and cooperate with ASG organizers who enforce it.
Our Commitment
Short Version: “American Strategic Group LLC is dedicated to providing a harassment-free, professional, and respectful experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, nationality, or professional background. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or unprofessional conduct in any form. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from events without refund at the discretion of ASG organizers.”
Detailed Guidelines
Professional Standards Expected
All participants are expected to:
- Maintain professional decorum and respectful communication
- Treat all individuals with dignity and courtesy
- Respect diverse perspectives and backgrounds
- Engage constructively in discussions and business interactions
- Honor confidentiality agreements and proprietary information
- Arrive punctually and prepared for scheduled meetings and events
- Dress appropriately for the business context
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable and will not be tolerated:
Harassment and Discrimination:
- Violence, threats of violence, or violent language directed against any person
- Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory language, jokes, or comments
- Personal insults, particularly those related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, nationality, disability, or professional background
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following (online or in person)
Inappropriate Content and Conduct:
- Posting, displaying, or sharing sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate material
- Inappropriate photography, recording, or sharing of images without consent
- Unwelcome sexual attention, including sexualized comments, inappropriate touching, or unwelcome advances
- Inappropriate physical contact without explicit consent
Unprofessional Behavior:
- Sustained disruption of meetings, presentations, or events
- Advocating for or encouraging any prohibited behavior
- Posting or threatening to disclose confidential business information or personal identifying information
- Misrepresentation of credentials, experience, or affiliation with ASG
- Breach of confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements
Prohibited Items:
- No weapons of any kind are allowed at ASG venues or events
- Alcohol consumption is permitted only when specifically provided or approved by ASG
- Illegal drugs or substances are strictly prohibited
Reporting and Response
How to Report
If you experience harassment, witness unacceptable behavior, or have concerns about conduct:
Immediate Response:
- Contact ASG staff immediately during events
- Approach the registration desk or event coordinators
- Use the “Help” or “Report” function in virtual events
Formal Reporting:
- Email: help@americanstrategicgroupllc.com
- Clearly describe the incident, including date, time, location, and individuals involved
- Provide any supporting documentation or evidence if available
Our Response
ASG staff will:
- Respond to reports promptly and professionally
- Investigate all complaints thoroughly and confidentially
- Take appropriate corrective action, which may include:
- Verbal or written warnings
- Removal from current or future events
- Termination of business relationships
- Involvement of law enforcement when necessary
- Provide support to affected parties, including assistance with venue security or local authorities if needed
- Maintain confidentiality to the extent possible while ensuring appropriate action
Consequences
Violations of this code of conduct may result in:
- Immediate removal from events without refund
- Prohibition from future ASG events and activities
- Termination of consulting agreements or business relationships
- Legal action where appropriate
- Reporting to relevant professional organizations or authorities
Additional Expectations
Confidentiality
All participants must respect the confidential nature of business discussions and proprietary information shared during ASG events and meetings.
Intellectual Property
Respect all intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets of ASG and other participants.
Social Media and Communications
When referencing ASG events or business relationships on social media or in other communications, maintain professionalism and respect confidentiality agreements.
Enforcement
ASG reserves the right to enforce this code of conduct at its sole discretion. We expect all participants to comply immediately when asked to stop any problematic behavior. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from events and other consequences as outlined above.
